Resell Right Products

Laura asks…
Can someone make a guide about money making website selling products with resell rights? It will help.?

answers:
WOW – There are So Many “work at home, make money online” internet marketing programs out there, it’s hard to know which ones are real and which ones are scams. So in my opinion, anyone who is truly serious about wanting to make good money online in the comfort of their own home should take a look at these FREE short online videos that clearly explain exactly how they can do that, just like I’ve been doing. It’s a Wonderful presentation.

Carol asks…
Are they allowed to sell our products?
There are some of our products being resold on certain websites. The people selling these are not from our company. I believe our product specifically mentions that it is not for resale, but can only be sold by us or one of our distributors. I believe this is detailed in our reserved rights, correct? Is this reselling illegal, or is it just another gray area?

answers:
If your contract with your distributors is specific – only sell to end users – then it would be illegal but you would need to track the source.

Joseph asks…
Is it illegal to buy and resell candy at school (Canada)?
I’m 14 and I want to start my own little thing at school where I sell candy so I can have some extra cash.
I’m planning on buying the candy in bulk at Costco and then selling it to kids at my school for a higher price for profit.
Additional info: I live in the province of Quebec in Canada if that changes anything.
Is this illegal? Do I need a permit? Can I get in trouble?
I need to convince my parents that I can do this without getting any risks.
Is it illegal to buy and resell products like candy? How about selling it on school grounds? It’s not drugs or anything it’s just candy like Hersheys, Twix, Mr. Big, Sour patch kids, Fuzzy peaches, etc.
If anyone is really good in law and could give me the answer I’d appreciate it.

Additional Details
I did some research and apparently since we live in a capitalist country (or something :s) we have the right to Consumer to Consumer (C2C) meaning we can resell things and that’s why stuff like e-Bay and Amazon exist.
I just want to know, is it legal (by the law, meaning can I get fined or arrested because I don’t want to have anything on my record)?
It doesn’t say anything about it in my school book rules.
P.S: I am not competing with any vending machines at my school because we don`t have one and nobody sells candy or anything.

answers:
The principal and the school board will have the final say in whether you can sell anything on school property. They will probably want a fee. In addition, both Quebec and Canada will want their sales tax, so you will need to get licences. Since it is food you are selling, you will need to get a food retailer licence and meet the requirements for a food handling operation. Between licencing fees, taxes and food handling code, I can’t see whatever you make will be worthwhile. Is Costco even priced low enough for you to be able to make a profit?

Susan asks…
Doesn’t it usually cost more to build things than to buy already-made-products?
It’s usually cheaper to buy already-made-products than to build things from scratch because you don’t have to pay for labor……….Right?

Then explain to me how this guy makes a profit by buying homes….making changes to them…
and reselling them for more.
How?

answers:
He’s a house flipper, so he IS the labor. You have to know how to do a lot of the renovations yourself, he just gutted those homes and took a huge risk that it would pay off. That was his “job” for months while his living conditions suffered.
The cost of the construction materials and any labor he had to pay for was paid for in the difference that the house was sold for. Even then, he pulled a profit because it was a luxury home.
In this market, though, it’s hard to do the same thing with luxury flipping, depending on where you live, he lives in Los Angeles, so you have actors that are willing to spend more on a home than you would in middle America.

Chris asks…
I bought a crystal bird bud vase. The tag is Amaris by Nachtmann. Did this company replace Hofbauer crystal?
I did some internet research on this vase. It does appear to be very similar to the Hofbauer piece. The red coloring around the bird is quite sharp and the image seems identical to the original, right down to the branches and leaves. I am guessing that it is not as collectable since it still may be in production. I did not buy it to resell. I only paid $2! Is there any way to find out how much this would cost new if it is still in production? The only website I found says there was a problem with the Amaris line of products.

answers:
I was recently in Germany and went to one of the Aramis factories. I bought Champagne Flutes and wine glasses in this pattern, my mother bought a vase with the pattern and paid 25 euro. One Euro at the time was $1.53. If that helps you at all. But it is still in production.
